A Master Mariner with strong analytical and communication skills having Twenty years of Experience in command of LNG and LPG Tankers.
- Commanded the First LNG vessel on NORTH SEA ROUTE in 2012
- Have taken over 04 number Membrane LNG ships from Hyundai Ship Yard & DSME Shipyard, & have also taken over 05 Fully refrigerated LPG carrier from various ship owning companies.
- Commanded the First LNG vessel to operate in complete Ice Condition near North Pole on a Double Acting Ice Breaking 45000 KW LNG (03 Azipods) carrier.
- Have Experience of working for various prestigious Charterers such as Qatargas, BG, Shell , Statoil , Cheniere, Gaz Prom Bergesen, Exmar, , BG, IOC , Reliance.
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards like International Safety Management (ISM) code, ISO 14001 and OHSAS, Flag state Rules and Regulations.
- Maintaining vessels at high international operational and safety standards.
A.Sankara Narayanan (Technical Director)
- Sankara Narayanan is a PG in Chemistry & has 35 years of industrial experience The last 15 years have been on the Thaumatin project alone for the development & commercialization of the product. He has worked in Samartex, Ghana, IBV SA, Belgium, Aviedon SARL, Ivory Coast & Avenir Industries FZE, UAE all for the Thaumatin project.
- He has individually developed the Thaumatin project from bench scale to commercial production while at Samartex, Ghana. Samartex Thaumatin division was the first company in Ghana to be certified for ISO 22000, thanks to the efforts by A.Sankara Narayanan.
- The product Thaumatin is at present done only by a handful of companies across the world – Naturex - France, Natex - UK being the prominent ones.
- Over the years A.Sankara Narayanan has conducted various developmental activities & process improvements for Thaumatin process. The process developed by him is unique and different from the methods followed by others.
